Sometimes it is only right to recognize those Pig Stompers that give their devotion and duty while supporting the squadron during Scenarios, Wars and Tour of Duty flying.

Most of the medals and ribbons listed below have their roots dating back to the old TSN/INN days of Red Baron. While we have tried to retain as much of the original awards criteria as possible it has been necessary to update and revise some aspects to be pertinent to the Dawn of Aces arena.

Those awards that are originally from Red Baron have the original "emotive" designation next to the picture. This was the only way, at that time, to represent an award since we didn't have a web page back in the "dark ages" of '92-95.

Notes:

1. If a squad member qualifies for more than one award for the same category ie. number of victories, kill ratio etc. in the same Tour of Duty, only the higher award is presented.

2. If a member qualifies for the same medal in two or more categories only one is awarded per TOD

3. A minimum of 25 sorties is required for all awards.

The Pig Stompers Cross "+"

The Pig Stompers cross is the highest award that the Squadron can bestow. 
Award criteria:
 
               
 
               
 
1. For performance to Pig Stompers above and beyond the call of duty ( anytime). 
2. For winning the scoring competition during a Tour Of Duty (TOD). 
3. Awarded in lieu of a 5th BBHM
4. At the Commanding Officer's discretion.

Bobo's Boars Head Medallion " }:@) "

This award was created in the latter days of INN to honor and recognize the years of faithful and wise leadership of the squadron's second CO, PSBobo.

Award Criteria: 1. For finishing in the top 5 for scoring during a Tour Of Duty.
 
                2. For scoring 10 or more kills during a scenario.
 
                3. For producing a Kill/Death ratio of 3-1 or greater during a Tour Of Duty
 
                4. For producing a Kill streak of 30 or more during a Tour of Duty.

The Sir Ronk Star " * "

This award is named after one of the original founders of the Pig Stomper Squadron.

Award Criteria: 1. For scoring 5 or more kills during a Scenario.
 
                2. A Kill streak of 20 
 
                3. For producing a Kill/Death ratio of at least 2-1 during a TOD
                
                4. For finishing in the top 10 for scoring during a Tour Of Duty.
Squeeegion of Honor 
Award  Criteria :
 
1. For servive to Pig Stompers ( anytime) that brings great recognition or
   honor to the squadron
 

Tour of Duty Victory Medal 
Award  Criteria :
 
1. Actively participating in a Tour of Duty wherein the squadron
   finishes in first place, and .....
                               (A) scoring a minimum of 2500 fighter points or...
                               (B) winning either the Sty Smasher's Grand Cross or Badge
 
Commemorative Victory Medal 
Award Criteria:
 
Awarded to commemorate one full year of arena dominationwarded

Sty Smasher's Grand Cross 
Award  Criteria :
 
1. Awarded to the Pig Stomper with the highest Sty Smasher rating during a tour
   of duty as determined by  the following formula;
   (#Base Captures x 1.5) + (#Acks destroyed x .5) + (#Buildings destroyed x .75)
2. Awarded in lieu of a 5th Sty Smasher's Badge
Sty Smasher's Badge 
Award  Criteria :
 
1. Awarded to the Pig Stompers with a Sty Smasher rating of 2nd through 5th
   during a Tour of Duty.
  Bruised Ham Award 
Award Criteria :
 
1. For repeated or specific damage to self or ego in service to Pig Stompers

 

Gold Ace Wings

Award Criteria: A Kill Streak of 50 or more during a TOD
